Amp The Electric Eel is just what his name says. He is an electric eel that drifts around the tank. After some time, he will be charged. Clicking on Amp will charge him up even more, until he releases the charge, electrocuting all guppies in the tank, turning them into diamonds. After which, a new guppy will be given to you as a replacement for the guppies lost.

Involvement

Amp is a good way to earn money in the later part of the game. Pairing him with Angie and Prego can give you over 4000$ in one shock. If 4 pets can be brought, bring Presto along as a second Angie to save more of the fishes.

Stories

Rumors have been circulating for years now that some companies have developed a way to make Amp turn water to diamonds. Conspiracy theorists believe that it is simply the interests of the greedy diamond lobby that have prevented this research to become available to the general public. Amp was closed-mouthed on the subject.

Trivia

• He is one of the two Pets who kills Guppies along with Gash (Shrapnel may be one of them, if his bombs hit the Guppies).
  • However, he will only kill special food Guppies in Virtual Tank and they will turn into Blue Conch Shells.
• His name, "Amp" is the unit we use to count electric (Ampere), which may be a reference that he can eletrocute the whole tank.
• His story says that his power to turn guppies to diamonds is the great power of greed (some say), but Amp says nothing.
• This is unknown how Amp turning guppies that he kill into diamonds and give you one small guppy.
