Guppy

Guppies are the main fish in Insaniquarium. Guppies have five apparent forms: baby, medium, large, star, and King Guppy. This page refer to the baby. For information on other guppies, please visit Guppy Disambiguation.

In Adventure, Time Trial, and the Challenge mode, the guppies can be aquired by three ways: they can be purchased for $100, born from breeders (which can be bought in Tank 4 for $200), or by breeding the pet known as Prego (or Presto morphed as Prego).

Forms

Baby Guppy

Baby guppies are first growth level before medium guppies.This size have most danger of death, and release nothing.In Adventure Mode,baby guppy can protected by Wadsworth against the aliens.

Medium-sized Guppy

Medium-sized guppies can be obtained by feeding baby fish with enough food, wait for the baby guppy to grow to into a medium-sized guppy.It drops Silver Coin, to buy more fish and other items. In Adventure Mode, a medium-sized guppy can be protected by Wadsworth against the aliens.

Large-sized Guppy

Large guppies are the next growth level after the medium guppies. It drops Gold Coins and can be transformed to a King or a Star guppy.

Star Guppy

Star guppies are a transformed from the large guppy and can be obtained by feeding a large guppy a star potion. It then begins to drop Stars, whih can even become transformed to a diamond by a Starcatcher.However, Star guppies can transform into a King guppy too.

King Guppy

The king guppies are the final and rarest form of the guppy. It drops a diamonds instead of coins and has a crown above itself. The king guppy is also a light blue color varient, however, although it cannot be protected by Wadsworth.

Dangers

Baby guppies face several more dangers than medium, large, king, or star guppies.

All guppies can be killed by Gash, aliens, starvation, Shrapnel's bombs, and Amp's electrocution. However, only baby guppies can be eaten by carnivores or guppycrunchers. They are also killed by consumption of a star potion (as are medium guppies). On the other hand, Wadsworth can hide baby and medium guppies in his mouth to protect them from aliens. Gumbo can lure all types of guppies away from the aliens.

Virtual Tank

Baby guppies are a form of (free) food available for Carnivores and Guppycrunchers. You can also get them from Prego or a large breeder. You can also buy them from the Fish Emporium (and they can't be eaten). Plain gold guppies cost 25 shells, colored guppies cost 500 shells, color changing guppy cost 1.000 shell, and more expensive ones with various special features are sometimes available. All have the same payout (but colored guppies can't grow to king) - medium guppies give a silver shell (worth 1 shell), large guppies give a gold shell (worth 2 shells), and king guppies give a blue shell (worth 5 shells). Guppies gain resale value over time (50% of price per growth stage: 50% for small, 100% for medium, 150% for large, 200% for king)

Santa

Santa is secret pre-named guppy who that can't buyed from Emporium.To get Santa, simply buy normal colored guppy (have special attribute or not) and name it "Santa" when you buy that guppy.Santa grow each time you feed him until large size, producting bag of shells, sing his own spesial Christmas fish songs, and his white body and red fins.

In InsaniQualien, a school of guppies becomes narrow. Then a school of guppies, including the narrowed blue one and the king guppy, connect together to play as a Bilaterus.
