He drops a gold coin every 6 seconds. Same in the vt but gold shells.
Stories
Some people are afraid to use vert because they think that he is an undead product of dark occult forces and therefore may turn against them at any time. This is simply not true. Obviously, a bad skeleton would not give you gold coins. He would drop rat poison.
Usefulness
Vert gives an average of $5.83/sec, which is inferior to all other direct money producing pets (Niko $6.25/sec, Shrapnel $8.33/sec but dangerous). However, at the start, you need money quickly, so it might find some use then.
Trivia
